Our Programs

Our Associate Board conducts the fundraising we need to support our youth mentoring program and senior learning initiative. This involves planning our fundraising events and seeking individual and corporate donations. Associate Board members have biweekly weeknight calls to coordinate these objectives.

Utilize your time and talents towards youth, educational, and community development initiatives as a Community Development Ambassador. We are currently working on two volunteer opportunities; the Leadership Circle and the Senior Learning Initiative.  As a mentor in the Leadership Circle your experiences, education, and talents will help young adults on their carer path and provide them with insight towards personal, economic, and community objectives. The Senior Learning Initiative seeks to further our agenda towards equitable educational access. We believe in life-long learning and work to pair our seniors with free educational opportunities, allowing them to complete the goal of obtaining a college degree. We are looking for volunteers to reach out to senior citizens and assist them with college enrollment. 

Help us write and submit multidisciplinary, and multi-collaborative grant proposals, ranging in size, scope and complexity, to a wide range of public and private external funding agencies and organizations, such as foundations, corporations, government, and other institutions. The Grants and Development team will support budget development, prepare grant and stewardship reports to corporate and foundation donors and manage the grants tracking process.
